This workshop will help the Teacher Assistant understand the role of Assistive Technology for Literacy support. Teacher Assistants will learn how to incorporate AT using a variety of technology tools for increasing reading and writing in the classroom and determine what’s working using a system of Data collection and planning tools. Using technology for students with and without disabilities is critical in every classroom. Network with your colleagues and learn from one another while you develop and practice strategies that assist you in using Assistive Technology tools (no tech low tech thru high tech) for reading and writing.
